I love how Chris Blair gets jabs in on the opponent during the broadcast

If there’s something the other team does that’s dumb he will find subtle ways to get jabs in during the game.
He’s done it with Nate Oats telling him to get out for example.
He called Vandy “Vandy Boys” all weekend making fun of their stupid Vandy Boys hashtag. He does it in a way that’s really subtle and if you don’t know the reference you won’t know what he’s doing.
Nb4 muh professionalism. Chris Blair keeps it professional. And it’s hilarious.

I really wish SECN would have the secondary audio option for your team’s broadcast. they could save money on those chumps who call the games

Most teams’ SEC+ announcers are awful. That’s why I’ve never gotten the Lyn hate - I remember Tenn’s SEC+ guys making my ears bleed.
Blair is starting to settle in, become part of the culture and find his groove. It was just jarring for a while going from Jim who was so engrained and quirky to a more “polished” outsider in CB.

He could announce what's in the phone book and be compelling. LSU hit a home run with Blair's hire and it's his level of versatility and preparedness that sets him apart.

I still think he's bland at calling football games but he's been entertaining as hell during baseball.
Example: "Well LSU has apparently run-ruled the Vandy Whistler because he's leaving as we speak."
And: "It would be worth the money to buy that guy a hotdog [because eating will shut him up]."

Early in the game on Friday, something positive happened for Vandy and the crowd was into the game and the Whistler was going at it.
Blair’s comment was something like “the situation has made a turn for the worst just like the ambiance in the park” which I really appreciated.

Blair’s call of Jobert’s grand slam sounded like it was a fan of LSU calling the play.
It’s the first time I’ve heard him like that and it was fantastic.
