After watching the Saints for their last 4 games playing several great defensive lines and only giving up 1 sack, it really drives home the point of how a great Oline makes everything work. Many of these defenses have tried every blitz possible with not even a knock down of Brees. I know Brees helps with his quick reads, however he tries a minimum of 10-12 deep balls per game that require 3 to 4 secs to develop.

I think Burrow could have similar success with that type of time. Need better players that are pass blockers first then run blockers second. We have a stable of the opposite.

The saints have an injured left tackle. You don't see them sitting there making excuses about players being hurt, so they are allowed to suck.

Forget about being on the wrong board, you're on the wrong planet.

Yet you’re still talking about an offense ran by the best offensive coach in the NFL

Stop with the excuses. The Saints also execute quick passes to perfection. 3 step drop, hit an open receiver, tends to neutralize a pass rush. There are ways to scheme around deficient O-line play.

You’re comparing burrow/ensminger to brees/Payton.

Think about that for a second.

The Saints offensive line is good at both

They dominated a pretty solid front yesterday in the run game

Stop it. Don’t you mention anyone involved with the LSU offense in the same breath as Payton and Brees.

Clearly the Saints offensive line is at another level even for the NFL.

Yesterday I saw Brees during a handful of plays get a pass off with a defender a step or less away and about to level him. But he still got the pass off and completed most of them.

That's being aware in the pocket, and being willing to take a hit, and not letting any of it rattle you.

Being replaced by a former pro bowler who has been an nfl starter for the last decade

Lose 2 more lineman then start to compare it to LSU

If Drew Brees had RB's and an adequate defense his whole career, he'd be regularly talked about as on the Mt. Rushmore of QB's. He belongs there any way IMO. DOn't compare Burreaux to DB.

OC's job is to gameplan around strengths and weaknesses. Yes, our O-Line is troubled but there are ways to plan around that. So both points can be true - OL reason for issues AND we need to upgrade our OC.
