How does he look compared to how JB looked after 3 games his 1st year at QB?

I am happy with the progress we have seen since MSS.

He is no JB and it’s not fair to compare their first 3 games because Joes first 3 were in a completely different system.

That said, before JB we would all have killed for a QB to give us what Myles has given us so far.

Sure he can still get better but MB is the least of the problems with this team.

Myles did a 180 & has looked impressive - we need everyone else to get back on board & follow suit. We need someone to take command off of the field & rally the team around the cause they are here for, playing championship football for LSU. If you're not committed to that 100%, player & coach, then GTFO.

This year's offense does not attack the middle as it did last year. It did not score when it was do or die from the one yard line.

MB looked good, but there’s a major problem. 0/10 on third down and the complete failure to score at the end of the game. So that can only mean two things. Bad playcalling when it matters most, or MB failing when it matters most. Or both. No way around it and that’s a serious issue.

It’s the play calling and the others around him in the majority of cases.

It shouldn’t of even had to

while I agree, we’re not just talking about one series. 0/10. 0/10 when a play mattered most on third down. That is huge.

Running or passing? We are not attacking anywhere with the running game. I’ve seen plenty of passing over the middle. Marshall has had several nice middle routes - one he dropped inside the 5 yard line against State, one he housed when the safety stumbled. I’ve seen Emery drop a pass over the middle, and I’ve seen numerous completions there.

Brennan has nice stats.

However, 0/10 on third down.

Couldn’t lead team two feet into end zone for the win.

He’s got a failing grade from me as a leader of this team. He’s been on campus for 4 years and is 1-2 as a starter. The guy doesn’t have it.

Look. Brennan was not good against MsU despite what stats may have said. But he’s show improvement every week.

His biggest issue right now is poor playcalling, Poor personnel packages, and the worst defense in the lat 20 years at LsU.

Brennan will more than likely have the 2nd greatest season for a while in LSU history and only have 4 wins to his name.

People don’t actually pay attention to the game. Brennan attacked the middle of the field all night

Jefferson made a living in the middle of the field last year. I do not understand the rationale of who gets reps at WR either. Or RB for that matter. Very little continuity.

He looks worlds better than Burrow did through 3 games.

If course, there's virtually no chance that trend continues, and he has some things to work on, but the future for him seems promising.

Doesn’t have it?? Man you serious? The offense isn’t the problem! He’s not the defensive leader.

Anyone worrying about Myles is basically a gunshot victim complaining about a hangnail. He's shown big improvements.

It begins and ends with the abysmal defense.

Worrying about Brennan right now is like worrying about 1 missing life jacket on the Titanic.
