frick EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU THAT WANTED TO BENCH DANIELS FOR NUSS!

I say this while pulling for Nuss to turn it around and have a great Senior season.

But in 22-23 it wasn’t even close. You know who you are.

I agree, but let's take it a notch down.

There were posters early in 2019 calling for Brennan to get playing time

Nahhhh it was 1 vs 20 until we beat Bama in 2022. Then it was 1 vs 15 after the Florida State 2023 game.

It was ridiculous. And those idiots deserve to hear it.

Radio show callers wanted to fire the LSU head coach after the Florida loss in 2003.

Yep, and that narrative of “no one knew he would turn into a Heisman winner” is trash also. His Junior year, he did enough to be named pre-season All SEC. So if he sucked as a junior, how did that happen?

We need a notation on those posters names, so that we all can tell that they clearly have a low football IQ. That would help us to scroll thru a thread much quicker to avoid reading what idiots say.

I remember sitting in the dome vs FSU with morons behind me yelling to bench JD in the first half and again at the end of the game. By all accounts, we should have been stoked about our QB after the first FSU game.

The second year FSU game, he was also awesome.

Full disclosure this OP was posted as JD came back and blew out a team that can win the AFC on the road….

Well, to be fair, the first three games for JD5 at LSU were not great. You could tell very early on he could run it better than any LSU QB ever to play. But he was not throwing it very well at all. This coaching staff helped develop that with him. Patience grasshopper.

he wasn't awesome in either of those FSU games. He didn't start playing at his Heisman level until the 2nd game following the 2nd FSU game. From that point on, a light went on, and put on a show at the QB position like I had never seen before. Sitting in TS for that Florida game was the most dazzling show by a QB , I 've ever seen....and I watched and loved every bit of JB.

He went 25 of 34 for 209 yards and TD’s with 0 Int’s. He added 114 yards rushing.

You don’t consider that to be good? Just brand yourself as one of the Morons who was screaming for Brennan in the spring and Nuss to start the year.

I see you.

FYI, he had 400 yards of offense alone on the second FSU game.

Yeah, he wasn’t that good.

Wrong.

In his first 3 games at LSU he completed 69.5% of his passes with 6 TDs and 0 INTs.

If you’re gonna defend the fricktards who pushed that narrative come back with facts.

Maybe it was the coaching that was failing him, see Sloan and Davis.

JD worked HIS arse off to get better, not unlike Burrow. Not sure we want to put it all on a special player to overcome bad coaching until we replace said bad coaching.

huh? nobody in their right mind wanted saban fired. I was at that game and listened to the post game show and do not recall anyone asking for his firing.

maybe on some other dipshit show? idk as i never listened to that crap and still dont. i only listened to coaches show with saban and post game. after hearing miles a few times i stopped listening to coaches show entirely.

i think that is incorrect. I think what you meant was he had 3 not so good/great games in 2022 if i recall. maybe something like arky? TAMU? auburn? or something like that? either way he made a jump from the junior to senior year that rarely happens AFTER starting for 3 straight years. 2 at ASu and 1 at LSU. and that along with denbrock is why he won the heisman.
