Broussard and Garza getting hot has changed our line up tremendously. However Hal still brings in a huge hole. We will need all the runs we can get today. I hope PM moves Reid over to 3rd and puts Beloso at 1st. This lets us DH a better bat than Hal, it also allows us to put another lefty in the line up. I would like to see Gio in the 9 slot. If they had a lefty on the mound, I wouldn’t mind seeing Dugas or Bianco.

Smith - SS
Dup - RF
Cabrera - LF
Beloso - 1B
Watson - CF
Garza - C
Broussard - 2B
Reid - 3rd
Gio - DH

look out OP. Some dumbasses out there get their panties in a wad when you mention removing Hal from the lineup b/c he sucks.
0-20 since the sec tourney. We scored 17 runs last night and he didn’t get on base once in his 5 at bats.
He cannot continue to be in the lineup. He also had 3 errors in the sec tourney. Real great defensive player huh.

I like. That's what I was hoping for last night as well.

Yeah. Hal looked terrible rolling up those double plays at 3rd last night.

It’s amazing that people can watch a team absolutely explode, score the most runs all season and then call for a lineup change barely 12 hours later

Hard to justify Cabrera batting 3rd right now.

Reid wasn’t exactly a slouch at third base when he has played there.

Hughes on the bench works , then he needs to transfer to Kansas State.

In fairness, Reid isn't exactly dogshit at 3rd. He's at .957 and Hughes is .960

Cabrera was smoking the ball yesterday. He’s BACK.

Who? No really, who is saying this now? Not from the beginning of the season, right now.

Hughes gets to balls that Reid just looks at as they go by him into left field and are not scored as errors.

Hughes at 3B is an asset. Even more so when the rest of the lineup hits. The OP is arse backwards. It’s when you have hitting like that last night when you should feel comfortable sacrificing a bat for defense. Not the other way around.

And he hits like a 12 year old.

Reid isn't that far off defensively and his eye/bat is significantly better.

Hal shouldn't see the field again.

Hugh’s getting to a ball Reid can’t get to once every 2 or 3 games doesn’t justify an 0-5 batter. At least Reid would get a walk at some point.

Reid can't even imagine making that play that Hughes made yesterday when he jumped up and snagged that ball then threw the runner out.

No argument from me there. I have no issues with Hughes at 3B. Thankfully, Reid is a viable sub.

He got to 2 last night alone including the first batter. If the first guy gets on and Marceaux is pressured immediately, the entire game could go differently. How is that not significant?

There’s enough replies already to prove my point.

I just don’t understand how anyone can justify keeping him in the lineup. I don’t care what he does in the field, he’s an automatic out. And his play in the field simply doesn’t make up for it.
