If I were on the team I’d say frick LSU and move on. I wouldn’t allow the university to profit off my efforts. The university UNNECESSARILY pulled the rug out from under the players on the eve of selection Sunday. This could have waited 1-2 weeks. The timing was petty.
And I say that as someone who loves the NCAA Tournament.

The timing of the termination was likely to prevent any further gain of momentum or added support from the fanbase toward Wade should the team make a deep run in the big dance. Much easier for the coward administration to cut ties now before any more potential wins and prepare to bend over for the NCAA
