I HOPE all our nfl entrants sit out. Chance for the young bucks to shine.

We have plenty of talent and they don’t owe us shite! I’ll support whoever chooses to put on a jersey.

If we're talking hope, aim higher. I hope Devin plays, and when we're up by 20 with 5 minutes to go he gets ejected on a great targeting call.

Or these guys dress out, are on the sideline and pumping up the young guys. They can lead in other ways.

You know, I get it when people around here refuse to get mad about guys sitting out. But this whole “I hope they sit, that’s the right decision” take screams “look at me, I’m edgy”.

Why would any LSU fan hope our best players sit out in a game that, if we lose, could adversely affect recruiting and give UCF more ammo to take a deserving team’s CFP spot next year..

I don’t blame them for sitting out non playoff bowl games. I just hope the trend doesn’t become kids sitting out half the season like Oliver or leaving school completely like Bosa.

I would rather win the game. I’m an LSU fan first and foremost. I don’t give a frick where these guys go in the draft, I want LSU to win games.

Idiot.
Why not sit out for the last two games....or the last three games...or any non-conference game?
If it is OK for these guys to decide what games are important and not important, why not ANY game during the regular season (if the reason is they might get hurt in a game that does not matter).

I agree with you man. Not to mention the statistics and probability of getting a career ending injury in a bowl game is low enough that it doesn’t support justification of sitting out for a bowl game. Players playing the game with 100% heart and effort was what used to draw me to college football over the pros. It was the one game that was still pure from the prima donna bullshite that we see in the pros. Now this whole sitting out thing is becoming trendy and this mentality has infiltrated the college levels. The game is sadly changing. I respect their decision but I don’t have to agree with it. Forever LSU.....except for bowl games, I guess.
