I'm not sold NIH... Believe me... I will be tickled to freaking death if LSU puts it on Bammer, but I'm pacing myself right now.

the LSU coaching staff put together very good gameplans vs. two far superior Bama teams over the past two years.

I don't see how you could 'firmly' believe that unless you are in denial.

Sure I want us to beat Bama and I'll cheer for us to beat Bama, but this years Bama team looks better then last years to me. Their defense is only going to get better and will be nearly as good as last year and their offense is way better then last year. I'd say currently Bama is at least 10 points better then us in TS, but plenty can happen by 11/6. And I do hate Bama and living in Birmingham sucks when they are winning.

even the fact that DUKE did it doesn't mean anything to you? the iso runs and zone blocking plays worked against Bama.

Considering when the game will be played LSU will have a chance to fix it's offense and Alabama a chance to shore up it's defense.
The teams that played today will be different than what we will see in 7 weeks.

Alabama has their offense rolling right now with a 3 headed attack at running back and McElroy looks more poised than at any point last year. LSU defense looks aggressive and is forcing turnovers.

An injury to either squad could change the complexion of the game. If LSU does not find an offense I do not think LSU will win, if LSU can find any type of offense then they may be only team able to beat Alabama.

You should switch over and become a Bama fan.

We almost beat them last year in their house. If the refs don't blow the PP interception, we're driving to win.

Auburn SHOULD have beat them last year.

The Bama arse kissing has got to stop.

The Duke that played today is different than the Duke of 4 years ago. David Cutcliffe has made them actually competitive in a short time. He has more wins in 2 season than Duke had in the previous 7 seasons. Last year they had a respectable offense, this year they have taken another step forward. They are a long way from being good but they are at least competitive with Vandy right now.

I forecast 89 yards passing from JJ and we barely lose. A vertical game gives us a 50/50 shot because of our D. With JJ.... that ain't happening.

sonds like you're warming up to this LSU defense as well an how it can keep us in games and win if the offense is at the least average... sound about right? Btw, congrats on the Ole Piss win. Vandy should be 2-1

LSU defense does look good, I am still a bit skeptical because if sacks did not effect rushing yardage then UNC had 77 yards rushing and Vandy 100. However, they are aggressive which is something I enjoy and giving up big play occasionally does not bother me as long as they are aggressive and forcing things, rather than sitting back waiting on them to happen.
