Is this really a concern for some people?
First of all, who gives a frick. I’ll gladly take a win over Alabama with Kristen Saban as their QB and not think twice about it. No apologies. Just beat whoever they line up against you.
Second of all, of ANY fan base who could make excuses, THAT’S the one you’d care about? Lol
Hell, most of their NCs under Saban have been gift wrapped in one way or another. 2009 - beat Texas without Colt McCoy. 2011 - the mulligan. 2017 - finished 2nd in the West AGAIN.
I’m pretty sure none of these favorable situations are mentioned anywhere on the trophies.

If you think about it long enough you can put an asterisk next to almost any championship though
Very few teams are so dominant that they aren't the beneficiary of a lucky bounce or break along the way
Perfect example - one of the most memorable BCS championships ever was the USC UT game. There is an almost 0% chance that UT wins that game if Bush doesn't do the stupid lateral. They were about to run away with it.
Another example - FSU over AU. If not for the well timed fake punt call by Jimbo they were about to get run out of the stadium. AU was absolutely gashing them up to that point and there defense was about to be on their heels. That championship hinged on the execution of one fake punt play.

And if we're to win a championship, we're likely going to have to be the beneficiary of a lucky break, and some fans somewhere are going to be able to say that if we didn't get that break, we wouldn't have won it.
Like you said, no one dominates everyone. So the price to pay for that is to have some fanbase claim that we got a lucky break, who the frick cares? It comes with the territory.
