The quote said he’d rather have his name on the field than outside the stadium. I assumed by outside he meant like Jamar Chase stadium. But maybe he meant like a gate or one of the other many things outside the stadium that have donor names on them.

But ultimately my point was there is literally zero acceptable scenario where tiger stadium is renamed for a player so inside the stadium will work just fine.

I assumed he meant he wanted his name on the back of his jersey, while playing the game, in the stadium.
Once his college career ends, then its time to consider where his memorial will be placed.

I think everyone took it wrong. I took it as he wants his name on the players roster as playing. Not on list on players sitting out... hence his comment "I'm playin"

His name is on the outside on the championship plaque. He’s saying he wants it on the inside like Burrows will be eventually.
