With the exception of Bama, and maybe OhioSt and Georgia, I think LSU could beat every team in the nation on any given day.
I think there’s about 20-30 teams we could lose to on any given day as well. So there’s that too.
LSU is a big question mark right now, for fans and pollsters alike.

It really is weird. I mean, if you could hire Dabo to replace O, would you? Of course you would. However, O did beat Dabo head to head for a championship, and O is 3-1 while Dabo is 2-2. Both are rebuilding. I just find it weird.

What's average? UCLA is certainly a top 40 team in America. That kind of plays right into the point a lot of people in this thread are making. There's a bunch of parity in CFB this year. Almost anybody can beat anybody on any given Saturday.

We are coming together as a team and getting better each week. I think that if we keep improving we can hang with anyone except Bama. We have too many injuries to be competitive there
