Going to be a lot of pissed off student athletes I bet if they don’t play. Trevor Lawrence won’t be the only one voicing opinions of wanting to play.

Is it up to the conferences only, or can schools play unsanctioned games?

Don't matter what the student athletes want to do. You will do as Big Brother tells you to do and you will like it.

Sure there will be. They'll actually have to pass their classes legitimately to keep their scholarships now. No more envelopes under the table either.

I would say 99 percent want to play.

If they are so set on organizing and fighting for their rights, then now is the time to demand the season be played.

Well yeah.

Those kids are competitors first and foremost. You don’t get to their level otherwise.

Wouldn’t be an issue if another president had taken this seriously from day one. Had plenty of warning. Chose to ignore.

The health of an entire nation > kids wanted to play football.

Sorry you don’t like this, but it’s the way it should be.

Good grief, fella. You might want to step away from CNN for a while.

Billions of people around the world are living their lives, working, going to school, restaurants, etc.

This is not a binary issue. It can be done safely.

I've said it a thousand times here, those kids are safer themselves and to others within the team protocol with constant medical supervision and testing and all that goes with it than they would be otherwise - left to their own designs.

Might be a couple that would stay locked in their room but that would be the vast minority.

The players that have been part of this protocol I think realize this despite the best efforts of others to convinced them it's not the case.

I agree the majority want to play, of course the few that don't get most of the publicity.
