Next season will be a key season, sure.

2010 will be a wasted year. Noone hates Miles, rather they love LSU. Why waste time with mediocrity?

It is widely-rumored that the players do not respect the new coach and tease him and his lack of intelligence and charisma.
I'm sure that he quit reading at this point. Do you really expect to be taken seriously when you argue rumor?

I love how he/you just made up player quotes form Tim Molton and Mike Davis.

WHoever conjured up that email needs to be thrashed with a bullwhip and then forced to wear a dunce hat out wherever he goes.

Read all over their are more morons just like him.

The athletic department puts these kind of letters in a binder. When they really need a good laugh they pull them out and read them. Let's them know their lives could always be as miserable as the writer.
Plus they pass them on ot the FBI for investigation under the Patriot Act. Feds consider writers like this to be unstable and capable of Hannibal Lecter type insanity

Of course he won't even read it.
he'll read it (or be briefed on it). what the author doesn't understand is that his work contains to many opinions and his emotions really stand out. he should have either waited to write if (for his emotions to subside) or gotten some help in designing it (or both). AD's do not make emotional decisions and decisions made on opinion (which may be wrong). he should have stuck with the facts.

The original writer may have some of his facts wrong but I can guarantee you that these and other letters, especially the well written and well reasoned ones are looked at and documented. You are foolish if you think that the caretakers of a $58 million dollar a year cash cow aren't concerend about the product they put out and the fact that the natives are restless.
Whether they do anything about it or not remains to be seen, and you can make fun of the writer all you want, but you really don't understand big business if you think they are just casually tossing the thousands of letters they are getting into the trash bin and laughing.

My only basis for this is the level of TAF donators around my level that have expressed that they won't be making their normal contribution this year. I took that dollar figure and divided it in half for those that will still write the check anyway.
I'm guessing that once the emotions of a tough loss die down, and you realize that your donations are for the good of the football program (not Les Miles), you donate again. Les has a boss, and performs in front of him weekly, at a minimum. Whatever poor performance we see, Alleva sees too. Alleva's reputation and legacy is on the line, which is more than most of us has on the line when the Tigers play.

This Miles-bashing "letter campaign" is mostly getting a bunch of morons excited at what they perceive is their chance to finally do something "meaningful."
Flaming RANTards who attack LSU coaches is not allowed on the RANT. You have been warned!
After reading most of these letters, the administration should ask themselves which professors in the English department should be replaced.
All of our professors of grammar and punctuation will probably get axed after this letter campaign.

fans who post on the rant should just keep their opinions on the rant and other such forums and not make them public to people of intelligence and substance

This same campaign was waged against Mack Brown at Texas a few years ago. I wonder how effective that one turned out.
Posted on 1/3/10 at 11:53 am to cbhughes
If you donate less than $10k to TAF or the athletic department then the emails and calls fall on deaf ears.
Wake up people.
Wake up people.

This thread is so full of fail its laughable. I just bookmarked it so i can pull it up after LSU wins the West this year.

Not really, it did have an impact in firing Brady. The same campaign was waged and opened the administrations eyes up.
A list of 1300 signatures to fire Brady was submitted also.

The funniest thing out of all of this is watching the "know it alls" and "I'm a better coach than that dude" people slowly but surely rot on the vine! They're squirming in their pants more and more as time progresses because it's starting to sink in that Miles ain't going anywhere any time soon!!
Alleva and the BOS folks will laugh at letters like this, IF they take the time to even read that garbage!!
Typical of some of these head cases!!

Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers...

sir, mam, kid whoever you are; your attempt to make it look like someone sent you that letter as an email, is a lame attempt at being honest. you may have lived in B.R. but now in Alababma, it can't be because of a job? you are more like a bama student and would do anything to coninue to bash (send subliminal messages) from your pink elephant crowd.
Do you want me to forward you the email?
