What would it take to bring Scott Woodward home? Other than the obvious of ridding ourselves of Joe Alleva.

How to we entice him away from A&M?

What says tRant?

Drop fat to get him. He seems pretty happy in College Station.

A great AD will want
1. a great college Pres/ Chancellor
2. Access to large sums of money for facilities and coaches;
3. A reliably nurturing political environment without meddling by politicians.
Woodward has a much better environment at A &M.

Yeah it bothers me to see Roberto boucher around the program after threatening its existence for his tax plan.

Sorry but Woodward's too smart to come work for a guy like Alexander amidst a dysfunctional political environment.

Can someone clue me in on what this guy has done other than back the Brinks truck up for Jimbo?

Serious question. I'm not trolling. I'm just unfamiliar with what he's done for so many people to have him up on a pedestal.

He got Petersen to leave Boise St for Washington. Did a lot of good things at Washington. And learned under Emmert.

What does LSU have to offer?
Less funding. Less academic prestige? Less commitment from board, alumni and state government.

LSU and LA get what they deserve... weak leadership and no real vision.

People in LA make emotional uninformed decisions to align with a massive inferiority complex. That’s the reason many are happy with Orgeron and justify the hire with “he’s one of us.”

No AD can remedy that.

Scott would love to come home if the opportunity presents itself.

Great question. Specific answer

1) Alexander departure , Moret arrival
2) No JBE. ( which is likley a requirement for (1). )
3) money
4) a commitment to his vision whatever. it is by TAF , Moret , BOS

In summation. Aligned strong leadership

It's the same warped thinking that many have about the back up quarterback being the one who should play.

Great post. It's sickening how many posters lobbied for Orgeron to get the job and now act like it's some great achievement if he wins 8 games. It's almost like there is a segment for whom there is nothing more frightening than to have genuine, high expectations. They're afraid of success it seems. Just set the bar at "good enough" and be satisfied bc it could always be worse.

Ironically they're the same posters who claim to be educated and highly successful in life while accusing others of being the opposite. Educated and successful people don't live by standards that accept mediocrity and complacency.

Some "LSU" internet message board fans just have to show off their idiocy by starting and posting in ridiculous threads like this one.

The guy gives Jimbo (14-10) in the ACC the last three seasons with the 2nd most talented team if not the MOST talented a HUGE guaranteed contract.

Months after getting a guaranteed $75 million dollar contract Jimbo most probably has the NCAA coming to visit. Talk about a quick return on investment.

And idiot LSU fans now seem to want the same thing for the LSU program. An overpaid coach with a HUGE guaranteed contract. A coach that unlike most if not every other coach who CHOSE to leave a program of his own free will, it was met with joy by the former programs administration, players and fans.

After loss to Louisville: Jimbo Fisher in response: "Bring your a@# down here and say that!". Whoa. FSU loses 31-28

Classic comments for this one. The "Me when Jimbo calls to “come on down”" gif was hilarious.

You just summed up the entire state.

People who have these expectations generally see this and leave the state.

See Ree’s post up above. He epitomizes this attitude.
