From article: "In all the practices I attended in Aranda’s four seasons at LSU, I can’t recall his voice ever being more audible than a conversational level," Rabalais writes. "Pelini will be heard. That’s a promise."

Don't have to yell to be heard.

Aranda and Pelini both good coaches. Just different personalities.

They definitely have completely different coaching styles for sure. Pelini is the most prototypical screaming and animated DC but by all accounts Aranda's approach was very effective as well. The Tigers who played for Pelini loved him - I guess it's just a matter of how kids in 2020 respond to getting screamed at

Pelini is old school where yelling and getting on players arse was the norm. The new generation can't take that kind of coaching. They need to be held and coddled.

So Pelini sounds just like Saban. And Saban gets results.

That’s one of the dumbest takes I’ve seen on this board.

Some of the pictures are great.

Next time you see Pelini doing this:

Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini (left) doesn't agree with a first quarter call by the officials at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyo. on Saturday, September 24, 2011.

...remember this:

Nebraska's Ndamukong Suh (93) and coach Bo Pelini talk after both were flagged for 15 yard penalties. ( )

And the next time you see Pelini doing this:

Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini (left) has some thoughts to share with defensive coordinator John Papuchis in the third quarter at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013.

...remember this:

Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini (right) kisses daughter Caralyn on the forehead after the Huskers defeated South Dakota State on Sept. 21, 2013, at Memorial Stadium.

The guy just runs the gamut. I think he's a great fit for LSU football.

Not true at all, I've always seen Aranda yelling at them during drills and that's just during the short 3 minute clips the media can get out.

Pelini would have done fine with the personalities on the 2019 LSU team. Most guys who play the sport at a high level have chest and aren’t pussies, regardless of what the average 2019/2020 person their age is or is not like.

Exactly, doesn’t LSU fans get on Saban for being to loud?

I played with both styles of coaching and both were very effective and successful.

The " pussification of society " is at levels that scare me.

Unlike Aranada and his Professor X persona, there are many shades of Bo.

The protective older brother...

The nurturing father figure...

Resourceful Bo..

And the professed animal lover...

No matter the shade though, who isn't ready to watch O and Bo celebrating on the sideline....

True, but realize alot of these players are still kids and sometimes kids need to be constructively chewed out. I felt like the tackling issue this season would have been fixed alot faster had Aranda lit into a couple players to get some fire under themselves mid game. It all worked out in the end, but our defense was no where at the beginning as it was at the end. At the end of the season, they looked hungry and played lights out.

You literally have never watched an LSU game since O took over. O is constantly chewing arse on the sidelines. Even the great Burrow got his share. This is a bad take.

Lot of stories about BP hammered on bourbon st after we won the ship his last year here. I am excited to see what he can do. Little nervous about our personnel being a good fit year one, but he is a good coach.
