When you have 2 starting quarterbacks, you have no starting quarterbacks.

Leave it to Saban to figure out how to get away with starting two QBs at once

He's gotta keep a competitive advantage foe that murderer's row he's about to face.

They'll both line up back there behind the guards and the defense doesn't know who's getting the snap.

BRILLIANT!

I don't think Saban would be playing two guys unless he really felt it was best for the team.

Tua is your starter and will play majority of the snaps

Jalen is your situational guy that will run zone reads and rarely throw it.

Yep.

Tua is so much fricking better as a QB, but Jalen is a brick shite house and will be deadly on zone reads in short yardage situations.

a 2 qb system makes sense here. Hurts is the guy who is conservative and doesn't make big mistakes. Theyre good enough everywhere else to make that work and will be agood option when they play ball control/defense to put teams away. Tua has more potential but less experience, has to learn what he can get away with at this level and what he cant (see the championship game), but will be a better option when they have to score.

But Tua is taking over full time in the near future.

You owe your former starter a shot, but Jalen will be unable to take advantage.

But the Rant told me that coaches had to name a starter early so he had time to build chemistry with his wide receivers. Saban is such a moron!

They should. Saban doesn't have many weaknesses but handling QBs is probably one.

When you have 1 watch, you always know what time it is, when you have 2 you're never sure.

Made me think of that for some reason
