The letter "H" on top of Baton Rouge in the above graphic at 8am Saturday morning would seem to indicate this...

As of 10:20 AM(CT) today it hit Cat 4 status:

quote:

Hurricane Delta Tropical Cyclone Update NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL AL262020 1120 AM EDT Tue Oct 06 2020 ...RECENTLY RECEIVED DATA FROM A NOAA HURRICANE HUNTER AIRCRAFT INDICATE THAT DELTA HAS RAPIDLY STRENGTHENED INTO A CATEGORY 4 HURRICANE...

LINK

Weather people are also saying it may lose strength as it approaches the LA coast b/c water temps are lower there. I wouldn't bet the farm on that.

These storms have blown up crazy fast in the Gulf this year. Laura did the same thing IIRC.

Thanks, Gar. I finally took the time to look up what "IIRC" means.

Greetings Tiger Nation (As a Cajuns fan, I come in peace )

We were originally scheduled to play App State tomorrow night, but with their COVID outbreak, we postponed that game to December 4 or 5. So we moved the Coastal Carolina game up from October 17 to this Saturday to avoid two straight bye weeks. Welp, it looks like we will be moving the game back to the 17th with the way things are shaping up.

As for LSU/Mizzou, it looks like they both have open dates on 11/7. Now, this is the bye before Bama; but with this wacky season, is there any possibility of just playing the game that weekend in BR? And I asked this because some of you have already paid for the game. Or would it be safe to say to just skip the home game, play it in Missouri, and keep the bye before Bama?

In any way, best of luck this weekend. It looks like we have a lot to worry about rather than football.
