I feel that our athletes will matchup well with making sure he stays in the pocket and making him beat us through the air.

Not so much the match up of Aranda's defense with him. UK's weak offense put up 40+ points on their defense, on the road.

Our O against their D is a huge mismatch.

If we hold UL to 10 points I don't think we lose this time around.

Are you kidding? 100 yards passing, 0 TD, 1 INT. Then he had 100 yards rushing and 1 TD, but we can all agree that 20 yard TD run had plenty of holding. LSU played Hurts probably better than any other team all year. The defense should hold up fine against Jackson. Aranda has weeks to prepare them.

Jackson is 10x the athlete hurts is. If hurts can rush for 100 Jackson can get 150

Agree with Jackson being better than Hurts but Bamas o-line is much better than Louisvilles..

Hurts was their leading rusher. Their RBs were held to a combined 100 yards. It's not like we were murdered by Hurts and their RBs. If we can shutdown Louisville's rushing attack and only allow 100 yards rushing to Jackson then that's fine. That's enough to win. Just shutdown the passing attack. You also have to remember that Louisville's offensive line is not Bama's offensive line...LSU was able to pressure Hurts well. Look at what happened to Jackson when UH was able to pressure him. He became panicked and made terrible decisions. He's not invincible.

We did enough against hurts to win the game.

Jackson is better than Hurts, but has less talent around him. I expect him to probably hurt us some in the 1st half with the early start, but for LSU to make adjustments as the game goes on. We just need some longer drives on offense to keep him off the field early. We should give their D some issues. If we don't have Beckwith, I think we could have some bigger issues.

Devin White I believe can do a fine job of filling in for Beckwith. He is not as good--yet--but he is faster than Beckwith and could possibly do a better job of following Jackson around because of that.

He likes throwing to his TE Hicuitini (SP.) so first priority would be to check him in the pass game. In the run game it's alot of Zone Read from the Pistol and Inside Veer from the Gun, so discipline will be key.

He is going to be an incredible player and I think next year he will make a big impact. It just takes a little time to learn how to play your assignments and Lamar is a hard player to simulate in practice.
