How Much Corruption Is Enough To Make You Want To Leave The SEC?

I’m not asking about the likelihood of it happening.

I’m asking you how much it will take to make you want to leave the SEC.

Will some of you never reach that point? Is there no limit, nothing that the SEC could ever do to make you say enough?

Is your devotion to the SEC unending and unbreakable?

I'm there now. I don't even care if it's corruption or not.

I have no desire to play another football game for a conference that allows officiating as bad as last night go unpunished.

If they can't officiate a better game than that then we need to leave.

I despise the SEC as a conference. I am an LSU fan.

I wish we could leave but the most logical alternative is not acceptable. (Big 12 with Texas having its own network.)

I prefer the Big 10 or PAC 12 but we do not qualify for the Big10 because of their academic status rule and the PAC 12 presents a huge travel cost problem with most of our sports.

The Sec is like NASCAR. Alabama is Dale Earnhardt. The heavily backed teams won't be denied their time, but you have to toe the line. Some teams are rewarded more frequently, but where else are you going to play?

I would be more willing if there was somebody out there obviously better.

It's not like I'm in a hurry to experience PAC 12 officiating on a full time basis, either.

What happened last night in CS regarding bad calls, was worse than any series of bad calls versus bama or anyone else in our history. And I was in Bryant Denny in 2009 and Jordan-Hare in 2004 and 2006.

I’m in favor of whatever is beneficial to LSU. It’s clear the SEC is no longer that. Im not saying we outright walk away, but we would be foolish to not at least listen to other offers.

We have a lot of fans that are willing to take it, regardless of how many times it happens. It’s essentialy battered spouse syndrome, at some point you start to make excuses why it’s OK.

What exactly is the end game of the corruption against LSU?

Bad calls happen every game and last night sucked. But do you really believe the sec/officials are against LSU? If so, why?

I got there last night too. This is not a one loss cry and take your ball and go home sentiment. We have gotten screwed more times than I can count. The officiating is incompetent. The alignment is a sham and the bias is obvious. And nothing is ever done to change.

It's either corruption or incompetence and I don't care which. I'm fed up with it

I’ve been leaning more toward that direction in recent years. It’s becoming very obvious that the SEC is rigged to the advantage for a few teams that are not LSU.

It’s time to have an open discussion about the future.

I think both LSU and Tennessee might be better off elsewhere.

I was once proud of the SEC, I have become anti-SEC because of obvious bias against LSU. Please join the ACC or Big 12. Alabama can continue to corrupt this league and I like LSU's chances elsewhere
