A friend died in September -- 3 weeks into the season.
Big LSU fan and she would have loved this.

My dad died 15 years ago and because of him I am a lifetime LSU fan. He did get to see LSU the 2003 title a few months before he passed.

I wish my dad was here to share this season.

My dad died Sept 30 of a sudden heart attack at 67. Lifelong tiger fan, TAF member, wore P&G all the time. We talked a lot about Joe Burrow back in Sept but I doubt he would have ever imagined this. I like to think he’s looking down from above.
RIP, Dad.

Absolutely! My son died in a car wreck at the age of 19. We put P&G flowers on his grave at beginning of football season. That’s how much he loved LSU

My pawpaw was a huge LSU fan. Would tape every game and watch it over and over until he could tell you what was going to happen next.
He passed away this spring. He's probably got a better seat now than he ever had...lol!
Think about him every time my 3 year old (who we named after him) says "Geaux Tigers!"

May best friend died damn 11 years ago! He was a ole miss fan but he laughed and could t wait to fire coach O. Also, he’d be going nuts with the Kiffin hire. He was one of the few who could really talk all sports.

We lost a wonderful friend back in late September. She was all LSU all the way.
I called her husband after the Bama game and told him I thought there was an angel watching and may have taken part in that game. A slapped football here a little extra added push on a spin move there
He laughed and said if she could have she would have. RIP, Chris

My dad passed 3 years ago, lifelong LSU fan. Taught my 2 brothers and I about LSU football listening to the radio. Bought season tickets in 1970. Took his 3 sons, grandsons and granddaughters, friends to the games. Even attended some away games late in life.
He loved the really close games. Super happy with the recent national championships. I know he would've loved this offensive LSU team. My brother's and I talk a lot about him every season since he moved on. Lots of great memories. His fandom is now into it's 3rd generation, great grandchildren. Who knows maybe his great greats before long.

My dad would be over the moon with this season. Never could have imagined what has happened. Luckily I get to share it with my son, and keep the tradition going. L’dor v’dor. From generation to generation.

Grandpa sat at the top of the South endzone for 30 years, he never would've believed this.

I have thought about my grandpa so much this season. He passed away 5 years ago. Over and over I find myself saying, “I wish you were here to see this,” but I have to believe he is getting to watch somehow.
The Bama game was the one that I missed him the most because it was the first time we’d beat them since his passing. That entire game week, I imagined getting in the car Friday right after work, driving the four hours to go see him, and sharing that moment with him.
This week has been a similar feeling. He told me stories about listening to Billy Cannon on the radio. I don’t think he could have imagined what Joe Burrow would accomplish.

Mu brother, who died 5 years ago, worked in the LSU athletic dorm in the 50's and remained a staunch tiger fan all his life. This wonderful season has brought tons of joy to me but a tinge af sadness when I think of how much he would have enjoyed this.

My dad passed away in 1994 so he never got to experience any of the success we have enjoyed the last 25 years in person.
I think about him all the time when I’m in the stadium or watching on tv. He would have been so happy with all of the success but I have a feeling this team would have been his favorite. I told my mom the other day that I think Joe would have replaced Eddie Kennison as his favorite Tiger.
I know he’ll have a great seat for these last two games.

I am. My dad and I used to sit by the radio and listen to the games because they were not on tv back then. We would scream and yell like we were in Tiger Stadium.
He is the one who made Tua fumble in the Alabama game. Thanks, Dad.

My dad would be completely flipping out.

My mom died in June of cancer and she was huge LSU fan, I’ve been tearing up after every game knowing how much fun she’d be having and wishing I could call her. But her prophecy of beating Bama the last day she was able to talk, came true. So I have no doubt she’ll help see this thing through.

I don't know a bunch of LSU fans personally, but I think about our resident PT and tRant poster, Ben Coleman, a bunch.
He would be over the moon about this season, for sure. At least now he has the best seat in the house
