DJ is going to run a 4.3 at worst at the combine. He'll be gone by the end of round 2 for sure.
And he tackles just fine for a CB. You can tell that Toliver is gone because, for the first time in his LSU career, he looks interested out there this year. His skillset will get him drafted, but for now, I see a Rashard Robinson type career for him. Nothing wrong with that either.

I would do a ban bet with you in a heartbeat. You sound like a little bitch who has no clue what nfl looks to get out of corners. He is 5”11 with long arms and speed for days. Also has been great tackling this season.
Do a ban bet bitch

3rd Round No. 72 pick
Tampa Bay Buccaneers:
Kevin Toliver, CB, LSU
Brent Grimes is slowing down, and it's apparent that he's not going to be on the roster much longer. The Buccaneers will need to find a long-term starter to play across from Vernon Hargreaves.
Pick change; previously Jamal Peters, CB

Don’t think it hurts his stock much but he’s Not good when a ball carrier has his shoulder square. Then again he is about 175.
He’s good at attacking when runner is moving laterally though.
You can’t teach his speed or COD. Not too mention he was poorly coached in HS. He has a great canvas for a pro team to work with.

2. Jackson can barely play college.

Yes, but thats not what they want from corners. Like you said, he tackles great on those outlet and screen passes at the LOS, but no, he isn't going to square up RBs very well.

Rumor is Toliver will leave. Don't shoot the messenger. I know it is ridiculous.
addition by subtraction. He is a serviceable corner but I believe he is way underachieving for the talent he possesses.

the best DB is returning

What mocks are you looking at? Because most of the ones I've seen have Weathersby going 5-7 if he declares this year.

No GM is going to waste a 2nd or even a 3rd round pick on a 5-11 175 lbs DB that can't catch and can't tackle. That said, if he learned how to catch, became an INT machine and could return punts I would agree. That ain't gonna happen this year
GMs care a lot less about college statistics than you think they do. They care a lot about raw ability.
In those third/fourth rounds where the lines are blurred between good ball players with mediocre athleticism and underwhelming ball players with great athleticism they can tend to take some chances.

If Donte leaves the NFL teams will be creaming on themselves to get this guy. Typical rant knuckleheads have no idea the talent on LSU’s roster.
Ok um no! Donte Jackson will not be drafted until at the earliest the 5 round. He doesn't have the skills the be a top drafted corner. Sure he's fast but how many PI calls did he have this year. First or second round hahaha give me a break

Tolliver should be drafted ahead of Jackson

Hell Jalen Collins got beat out by two freshmen and still got drafted in the second round

Do a ban bet then. Not that anybody knows or cares who the frick you are, though.

I have no problem with Tollvier or Jackson leaving. Both will probably test well at the combine.

I know it's not the gospel, but Donte Jackson is the highest rated DB in the SEC on PFF. Even though their rankings aren't infallible, Jackson is not terrible like many of our fans seem to believe he is (although in today's world it seems like you're either awesome or awful, there is no middle ground for people). And you don't need to be an INT machine to get drafted in the first few rounds, nor do you need to be 6'1" 220 like Patrick Peterson. Ron Brooks was a 4th round draft pick and wasn't ever even a starter. He was every bit as small as Donte but ran a sub 4.4 forty at the combine at got drafted in the 4th round. It's probably stupid to bet on where someone will be drafted with so many unknowns, but to say there's no way he gets drafted in the first 3 rounds is pretty ignorant IMO.
