in the Coaches and AP poll?

LSU already had commanding leads in both.

LSU already had 65% of the first place votes in the AP. It had 67% of the first place votes in the Coaches poll.

I’m very surprised that someone in the media hasn’t brought this up. How can we be the overwhelming choice for #1 in both polls, yet still #2 in the committee’s poll? Doesn’t it stand to reason that coaches know more about the sport than a bunch of bureaucrats on a committee?

Id disagree. The committee “should” know more as they have more time to watch games than a bunch of journalists who have to turn in their votes sunday morning after games

To clarify, I was referring to the coaches only. Take a look at some of the people on the committee and tell me how they should be trustee to make the decision.
