How good would Nuss be if he had the same starting experience as JD? Thoughts?

How good do you think he would be especially if he had been running an offense for 4 years.....IMO if Nuss had been the starter at the beginning of the season he would have had a hard time improving but not after the O line improved as it did. As the O line has improved Nuss would be pretty darn good. And people understand that holding the ball as long as JD does leads to sacks and scrambling - DO not argue this as JD held the ball longer than all but one QB in the SEC the first week vs FL state.
***This is all about seeing rabid fans that can't take the other side of the argument.

I have a great novel idea… let’s make another post about JD vs Nuss — it’s never been done before

…and the 12 other weeks?

Shutting down the debate before we can have it? Sure, that’s fair.

He’d be 6x as good as Burrow, would have won the Heisman, throw for 10k yards, won the Natty and opted out next year to prepare for draft.

did his experience come with no supporting talent at a dumpster fire like ASU (with virtually no 2020 season) like JD?

then he'd probably be a deeply flawed QB.

Probably be a mix of Burrow and Tim Tebow

LSU would be 4-8 and you’d be crying about not winning games

It would have started out so rough that many fans would be calling for his head by the second game. If he was still the starter by the Alabama game, Bama would have eaten his lunch and feasted on interceptions.

I think he would have passed for around 20 touchdown's and 20 interceptions. The fanbase would be screaming that he throws into double/triple coverage too much and had cost us a couple of games, one of those being to bama.

That being said, I'd love for him to stick around for next year and see him and WH fight it out for the starting job.

Well, I seem to remember a pick six Nuss threw against Southern. Nuss looked bad.
I suppose all you dimwits forgot or simply overlook that.

Everyone’s dick got hard for Nuss after the GA game. Problem is Ga had the game put away and played soft zone. If the score would have been 14-14 when he came in does anyone think he has the same type of game? It’s similar to 2019 oleMiss when we are up 4 scores and little man ran for 200 yards against us.

Better idea - how about we build a box that blocks dumb ideas and we put it in whatever room you are in.

Not to shut people down but I dont want to go down the road of JD scrambles - OK why? because he has too after holding the ball? yes, It is a fact - this did not change throughout the year and he has wheels to move and is a GOOD quarterback/player.
My point was What IF and to see who could legitimately take the other side and think about any improvement ANY good QB would have with that much starting time

I wonder why the coaches who watched every snap in practice and have every incentive to put a winning football team on the field didn't give Nuss as much starting experience as JD?
