Haven’t hear a lot about him. What does the rant think about him?

Talented. But not ready. Looks lost when in the game.

The good thing is that he's got two weeks to game plan and get reps to prepare for the first half. We just need to stay within striking distance until Devin gets back.

We are replacing a Top 10 NFL pick that’s been calling our defensive plays almost since our DC started. He is not replaceable in a game of this magnitude. Look at the effect losing Phillips for the Gaytor game had and multiply this times a gazillion.

Didn’t someone say last night that the last game we played without #40 was Troy? Remember how our defense looked in that game?

He is a good player. He is not close to White.

Even if Queen is behind White on paper, if he’s not ready, we’ve got other options. Not worried a bit. White can come in in the second half and tear it up.

He's two weeks and three days away from being ready. Sorry, he'll just miss the mark.

I’m going to get downvoted to hell, but here goes. While White is probably the best physical talent LSU has ever had at inside LB, he is weak at reading blocking schemes and reacting. This is probably why Aranda commits White so often to a blitz. It’s to take the decision making away.

If you watch every defensive play of a game you will see White repeatedly caught up in second-level blocking of the offensive line. The 42 yard run by Fitzgerald is a great example. There are numerous examples from the Georgia game. He is still a great linebacker because his physical talent is elite, even for the NFL. When White sees the play he is devastating.

We are a worse team with White on the bench, but I’m not overly worried about it. What concerns me more is: are we going to allow Tua time in the pocket, and can he drop dimes on us like he has been doing all season? Also, our offense has to be consistent in the passing game. When receivers are open Burrow has to hit them, and when the ball is there the receivers have to catch it - every damn time.

Great closing speed but obviously not on Devins level. I want to see more physicality from him when he’s on the field. He’s still young.

He got trucked on kickoff coverage against UGA but the returner ended up fumbling on the next hit.

Put a spy on tua. Slow our offense down use the clock. Keep bama offense off field long as we can. Make them have fewer plays till second half

Cannot spy on Tua. We need every man in coverage.

there’s no reason to spy tua. He doesn’t have the run first mentality

Aranda: Perhaps it's time to dial up a different kind of use of a "Rover" using Jacoby Stevens.

Get the best talent out there that can be most effective getting to the Bama playmakers.
