How far do you see this team going in the tourney?

No doubt it’s going to be a weird/crazy tournament this year. Right now there’s really no blue blood school that’s projected as a 1 seed. I feel like we could make a lot of noise if we end up with a favorable bracket, not to mention we should actually have our coach this time. Will Mothafrickin Wade baws!

Final 4 and winning it all. It is the year of the TIGAHS! Baseball next to win the natty and the trifecta will be complete!

I agree. This year is wide open for a Cinderella or an upswing major like LSU to make a splash. We seem to be coming together as a unit more each game.

In a general sense, March Madness will be awesome this year.

Depends on matchups. College basketball is weak this year.

Title game.

Give me the tigers.

Dr. Mays at the buzzer to win the whole damn thing.

I mean given the landscape of CBB, there is an argument to be made that a team like LSU could run all the way to the title game... I don't think that happens, but could definitely see an Elite 8 run

Will need to cut down on the stupid turnovers and bad shots. both of these allow teams to get back into the game against LSU. happened again last night with Bama when they cut it to 9. Other than that, they go to the hole like bandits and crash the board like madmen. And hit their free throws when it counts. That can take you a long ways but need to value the ball more to get past sweet 16.

I want to say Sweet 16 again, but I do worry about guard play

I think the answer depends on whether Charles Manning is back and playing with confidence by tournament time. I just think he adds a dimension at guard that will help Smart get off the floor a bit so Smart can see the game from the bench for a few minutes and get back in and be more effective. Obviously, we cannot sustain any other significant injuries.

Assuming Manning gets back to playing form by the last week of the regular season, I think we could make the Elite 8 and with some luck, Final 4.

Geaux Tigers!!

With the way this team rebounds, if they are hitting their shots they can run it with anyone.

I live in Tallahassee so I've watched a ton of FSU bball (top 5 team.) They're good, don't get me wrong, but I have no doubt in my mind LSU could play with them. This is a down year across the league, if someone "unexpected" doesn't win the whole thing it'll be wasted.

Sweet Sixteen. Again.
Four seed is probably the ceiling. Favored in the first two games, then run into a 1-seed

I think a deep run in the tourney could come down to Days and Hyatt.

In the last 10 games:

Days - 11-47 from 3 for 23.4%
Hyatt - 7/17 from 3 for 41.2%

Days is a far better shooter than this. I think some of his attempts are too quick. I’d rather him take his time and get squared up.

Hyatt just needs to stay on the current trend.

We’ll need them to help space the floor come tournament time. Michigan St. didn’t respect our 3pt shooting and it hurt our ability to get to the rim.

A little better 3 point shooting and tighten up the defense for the whole game and elite 8 is my guess.
