How exactly would Wade cheat at recruiting?

There may be some people on this board with insight on this. Will Wade is at VCU, but is interested in the LSU job. Lets assume he knows he will have to cheat to recruit elitely. Obviously, he won't take the job unless he knows LSU is down with this strategy. When Alleva flies up to Richmond to conduct the interview, does Wade broach this subject with Joe? Is Wade's agent contacted by a booster to tell him don't worry about being dirty, we have systems in place for that? Does Wade have his own "crew" to do his dirty work? I just can't believe a new coach would be filthy right off the bat, or that LSU would use as a pitch to Wade that we're gonna do what needs to be done to get you players?! Anybody with knowledge on how this would work?

Is that you, Mr. NCAA Investigator?

Are you fricking retarded?

I wonder if you look as retarded as you sound.

the NCAA isn't interested in stopping cheating; they are only interested in the appearance of doing something about it.

I doubt there is much there. Basically he has been able to pull an unusually good class for LSU and it raised some eyebrows. Sounds like they're going back to his VCU days just to see if they can find anything. This isn't even smoke, it's just the NCAA being overly cautious.

I personally think (and hope) these players are going to LSU for proximity, gfs, etc.. I am just trying to get the angle from how Wade would get his ducks in a row to cheat if he knew he had to cheat at LSU. In other words, if this report is true, how does this get set up so quickly with a brand new coach?

Well... LSU may have decided to win at basketball. The current way you win is to hire one of Nike’s or Adidas’ young up and coming coaches. Said coach then begins to play the one and done (or two and done) game with said shoe conpany’s AAU affiliates. The pertinent shoe company arranges for payments to players.
It’s pretty clear if you read the indictments... unless you believe that the guy Adidas hired from Nike was doing something at Adidas he wasn’t doing at Nike.

Good points by OP.
It is well known by insiders (those of us that have sauces) that recruiting cheaters always reveal their techniques and cheating routines during interviews with prospective employers. They want to be sure that they are in sync with those already in place by the prospective new employer. Conflict in cheating can be disastrous so it is important to get that out of the way early in the interview process.

Ask Ole Piss how they feel about that.

Did you read the article? The investigation has stalled for lack of on the ground specifics ie evidence. It's a nothing burger.

I think the scenario laid out in my opening post illustrates how UNLIKELY it is that Wade is cheating to get these players. PLEASE if anyone on here has knowledge how this is done with a BRAND NEW COACH educate my ignorant arse.

Quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever read on the board, especially when thebOP is seriously considering this as a reality based thought.
