Hopefully this administration isn't around long enough to "look" anything.

It's not possible for them to look more dumb than they already do. They have reached peak dumb.

They look dumb now.

For WW it's all about what documents that get released from the trial after the fact. After the trial or plea he through his attorneys can answer all questions.

LSU isn't worried about a trial...the can of NCAA worms is already open by what has come out. We are going to be investigated....period.

They have been influenced by the media, who may be the dumbest people on earth.

And i'll be willing to bet the NCAA will never find a paper trail that shows any sort of payment. The only thing they will come up with is a phone call that talks about an offer.

LSU reacted to the media. LSU looks dumb.

All LSU had to do was stay quiet in this whole ordeal and they would have come out smelling like a rose.

At this point, I’m already assuming that’s what’s gonna happen. And then they will release a statement saying “better to be safe than sorry” or some bullshite and the Governor will agree them and talk about how it was the right move at the time. And Will Wade will be taking a job at some major basketball school like Indiana or UCLA. And we will be back to the dark days of LSU basketball with nothing positive in th me future because what good college basketball coach and recruits would want to come to LSU after this debacle?

I don’t know that it really matters whether Dawkins goes to trial. The real question is whether the NCAA will receive all of the recordings.

I honestly don’t know which would be worse..
A) The NCAA receives all of the trial evidence and has dirt on multiple coaches, including additional details on Wade, or
B) The NCAA receives jack shite, leaving everyone to speculate about Wade with no (concrete) knowledge of what the other programs are doing.

Maybe it doesn’t matter. Even if the NCAA receives all of the recordings, there’s no guarantee that they will see the light of day or that the NCAA will act on the non-public information.

They always seem to make a move that makes LSU look in the worst possible light.

The unretarded play is to support Wade until he has to testify and then make a decision based on his testimony. All the while, hope this guy cops a plea.

It appears they don't care how they look to LSU fans and Alum. They only care how they appear to Progressives, National Media and the NCAA.

Deep down I believe the NCAA hopes the FBI/DOJ redacts all NCAA violations from the court documents and keeps that info classified. They don't want to know. They don't want to go down that road. Much bigger cash cows than LSU make be impacted.
