For starters, we are in if we beat Florida. We lost

According to the OP we were 8.

First you make a roux!
Then you beat Alabama.
Then you win the SEC Championship.
Done.

There's only one way possible...they buy tickets just like the average fan would.

They should have lost to Maryland like two days ago. Maryland is not a good team. Stay with us here.

Do we really need Mich to lose to OSU? Can't they just lose to NW and fall below us (assuming we beat A&M)?
It's not that farfetched. Mich beat NW 20-17 earlier this year and trailed in the 4th. NW is 6-1 in their last 7.

Let's just hope LSU can beat A&M. I tell ya.....those receivers keep dropping those crucial passes, this could get ugly really fast.
Remember we left fourteen points on the table last week against Rice.

Wouldn’t beating #4 Michigan show improvement?
No, beating them (IMO) wouldn't indicate that the team has improved. They have given up an assload of 'chunk' plays all year, they continue to be one of the most penalized teams in the nation, and the O-line still gets pushed back or flat out beaten. All of this after 11 games and 12 weeks of practice. Again, IMO, this team has shown zero growth and improvement in these areas from game 1 through game 11 which is why we were 10th in last weeks CFP poll. The committee doesn't respect tOSU. I don't think winning one game would change the committee's perception of tOSU as a flawed team that isn't on the same level as Clemson, ND, or Michigan.

LSU needs to score 40+ this weekend...that would help committee view us as a serious contender.

No sir. 1 loss Oklahoma or 1 loss Washington St. will be there before Ohio St. after this past weekend.

Really the biggest differnece between this year and 07 is in 07 Lsu was actually the best team in the country despite the 2 losses. This year we are at best the 5th or 6th best team in the country with the best being significantly better than us.

As I said, LSU is still ahead of WSU.
