How does a team score 11 runs on Friday…

…in 5 innings no less. Then essentially play without bats the rest of the weekend??

I called it after they scored 11 runs everybody gave me shite I said give Beth time and she proved me right the game has passed her by. Time to find another coach

Her teams cannot score runs in the biggest games. I am talking repeatably we get shut out or score one run when the season is on the line over the last seven years.

Well, coach, how about you tell us what Beth should have done differently when her team just routed the best pitcher in the country. What would you have told them, Coach, to assure they didn't get shut out?

Canady is good, but Stanford will not win the WCWS. They don't have the bats to do it.

We're not firing a softball coach that only has 2 years left and paying that buyout. She's probably not the answer, but you can go ahead and get that out your mind, especially since she just made the super regionals too. We already have enough contracts and buyouts we're paying.

We did start attacking. Had a bad tag up from 3rd that ended up resulting in an inning ending double play with the bases loaded. After that, LSU lost it mentally it seemed and it was immediately followed by a horrible mistake by our RF diving for a ball and still being 5 feet away from it, which allowed the ball to get to the wall and resulted in a triple.

I agree. The correct thing to do is let her finish out her contract, then not renew her. Let Howard Dobson and the others go, but try to keep Bryce Neal if at all possible, although he may leave on his own.

Yea, Scotty ain't payin' no damn buyout for a softball coach that only has 2 years left after all the checks he's been writing lately.

I can tell you this listening to Jay Johnson and Kim Mulkey use the whole season to prepare for a run at a national championship and then showing it on the field is totally the opposite of the results Beth has shown. She seems to fade when it matters most . She was good when she got here but has lost it time for us to move along. People in here saying Woodward won't shite can her with two years left obviously haven't followed Woodward. I believe she is done here.

I don't think you fire a coach as they return from a super regional, but I think we all know that this season was probably her best chance at OKC for some time. I expect regression next year.
