How do you think the team will respond vs Florida after players only meeting on Monday?

Last week was just Daniels and the wide receivers meeting and same results after the Tennessee game.

I believe it’s important to continue to adhere to the unit cohesion between the players. They’ll be able to use the players only meeting’s to feed off each other and continue to gel and grow together. If there’s some constructive feedback amongst each other, let it be sorted out and dealt with internally.

UF will be another good matchup. It’ll be fun Saturday.

There's no good reason why LSU shouldn't play well and have a chance to win Saturday night in the swamp. Florida is by no means a powerhouse, and have struggled every week except against a pickup game v E. Washington. And unlike Tennessee, there's no bye-week advantage in play for this game.

Diminishing returns. Results talk. Anything else is lip service.

Well let’s see, how did the players only meeting go with Daniels and the WRs. He still couldn’t throw to them in stride or lead them in route or make it to the second read.

Players only meetings are way overrated. You are talking about teenagers here. I will be interested to see how the Florida D attacks LSU. Expecting the same blueprint as Tenn, and unfortunately similar results from our offense.

Well, at least the time they spent in their meeting kept them from reading the negative bullshite posted on this board about them.

Do y'all think they intend to disappoint the fanbase? How about lifting them up instead of beating them down?

I think they practices last week too, should they stop that as well? Game planning?

Just because something doesn't work one time doesn't mean it's a bad idea or should never happen again.

I like the players only getting together bc it shows they care.

But, i question why? Are the coaches the problem or are the players not being held accountable by each other?

Doesn’t seem very ALLIGNED

There was another players only meeting? If these things get called too often, they lose their impact

The problem is not just poor player performance. This may help but there has to be an “only coaches meeting” to address why player performance is poor.

Yep they said the first thing that was addressed was special teams. Nuss said a few things as well as other veterans on the team apparently.

Unless AR plays outta his mind again like vs Tennessee, LSU will win. Kelly gonna catch all kinds of hell if he loses to Lafayette Billy.

Because this place sucks. It’s a shithole. It’s so much easier to shite on these guys instead of trying to be positive.

Face it… LSUs fan base, at least the majority of the internet variety, are a bunch of front running pussies. For over a decade (minus the past 2/3 years), going back to the Les Miles days, LSU has ALWAYS been in contention at this part of the season. Now they aren’t and our fans don’t know how to deal with it. So many have jumped ship. So many do nothing but constantly shite on the team, players, coaches, etc… it’s strange to me.

Players only meeting is code for

Stuff's really jacked up.

Don't know if they need a motivational meeting. They didn't seem to quit, so they seem engaged. Poor coaching decisons and poor play in spots did them in. Special teams need to spend extra time practicing, not having meetings. Just sayin.

Everything changes. We rush for 300 yards and pass for 400. We smother Alabama and hold them to 3 points, picking off their QB 4 times. We run the table and go into next season as the #1 team in the land, maintaining that ranking into January when Coach Kelly wins his first national title at lsu
