BK is amassing talent. I’m cautiously optimistic.

I won’t be a believer until I see it on the field.

Start 1-0 then we can talk.

Meh

Feels like 3-4 losses is going to be the norm under Kelly most years

He could have one outlier where we win 10 or 11 games and make the playoffs, but we'll likely lose in the 1st or 2nd round.

It’s taken awhile but we’re slowly building it. Playoff this year is a must! Beat Clemson and Gumps is a must also

This year is playoff or bust. No reason we shouldn’t be in it considering the talent and investment. Lots of faith in Nuss making that leap.

Next window is 2027-2029 when class of 2026 gets developed.

There is so much optimism and uncertainty wrapped up with this team that they can explode to stratospheric levels or implode faster than oceangate.

Need to start the season strong 2 murder's row games the first 3 games of the season. Clemson and Florida. The Florida team might be underrated. Considering Lagway is moving towards being an elite QB in the NCAA and he beat us on 1 leg last year, that's a major trap game as well that's easily overlooked due to how good Clemson is. I think LSU wins that one because it's at home but I think it will be close as well. If LSU starts the season 1-2 BK's seat gets red hot.

Another game I'd circle on the schedule that's being overlooked is South Carolina. That team should've beat LSU last year. Had they beat LSU, they would've been in the playoffs. They should've been in the playoffs anyway considering the run they made on the second half of the season. Had their QB not got hurt against LSU, we lose that game. Any of the media did their job and watched SC middle to end of season they'd see they were one of the hottest teams. Considering what we saw in the playoffs, they definitely deserved a spot. They will be looking for revenge in that game. Another QB who can be REALLY good if he develops like people expect.

Interested to hear some of the responses.

Year 4 and LSU actually has a team littered with talent & considerable depth. Credit Kelly/staff!

O-line has talent, that group typically needs time/continuity we'll see, can't roll into the season not being able to run the ball.

Defense has some dudes; can they get off the field on 3rd down?

Seems there may be a playmaker or several on ST's.

Cautiously optimistic.

Recruiting is going well but we all know that Kelly has a problem in getting pur teams ready to play the first game like it is mid season. And it’s not because we have lacked talent in the past. We have had the better talent and simply were not prepared. Kelly dances around pissed like his coordinators didn’t do their jobs but at the end of the day he needs to be able to look at what they are doing and take responsibility for his team. This year is different in that Clemson is as talented as we are and if he isn’t ready he will get embarrassed and possibly risk the injury of Nuss. The team has to be in mid season form and Kelly has to have his offensive line ready to protect Nuss.
