Made it through 5 if I recall correctly. No Walks, No Runs. He did what was asked of him

Pretty sharp. His fastball was it's usual 88 mph, or so, and had a lot of run on it. He hit the corners and mostly kept the ball low. He threw a couple of nice breaking balls, but he honestly didn't need anything but his fastball most of the night. His command was on point.
I was actually surprised he came out after 5. Mainieri made it sound before the game as if he was going to let him pitch till he was worn out, or ineffective. Didn't sound like he had any pitch limit on him.
I think he did so well, that Mainieri wanted him available in a long relief emergency later in the weekend. But that's just a guess.

Final line on Moffitt, who delivered exactly what #LSU needed to begin a five-game week: 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K, 69 pitches (nice)

Clay is a great guy, happy for him

So you didn't see any of the game, apparently knew nothing about it, you didn't ask about Willis, Gio, any of the other young guys? All you had to do was go to The Advocate.
These threads are so dumb when the entire internet is available to tell you what he did.

Maybe the guy just likes asking other Tiger fans on here how Moffit pitched instead of reading a newspaper article. Is that so terrible?
Geez man. It's ok.

Relax bro... maybe the guy wanted an actual opinion of how he looked? Did he pitch well enough to shut out a top ten team or was Grambling just not good at the plate, etc.
Instead of just being another prick on the Rant try to actually add something to the conversation like Metaloctopus did earlier. I know... it actually takes effort but you can do it!
Then again, I doubt that you even watched the game.

Clay Moffitt 2018 = 8.49 ERA 11.2 Innings 21Hits 11 ER’s 7 BB 12 K’s. .389 BAvg
2019 =. 0.00 ERA 13.1 innings 4 Hits 0 ER’s 0 BB 12 K’s .167 BAvg
Stats show he’s performing well this year compared to last year. You might say that he’s doing this against midweek opponents in 2019. But the stats from last year were also against mid week opponents. He has seen some week end relief action this year. With this kind of work, he might get a few more innings. Well done Clay!

2 things:
1- If you don’t like these threads, then don’t click on them. Bc it sounds like you just like to complain.
2- This is part of “The entire internet”.

Looks to me like he asked for an opinion on how Moffitt looked, not your opinion on what you think he should do
