reminds me of deion...almost like he is toying with the coverage team. He will take one to the house soon

He did a cross over dribble with no basketball...in a football game. It was magnificent.

Nope. I love Stingley, but as a punt returner he is not in Prime Time's zip code. Nor is he anywhere near the coverage guy.

He's a gamechanger but I still think I'd put Palmer back there. I'm worried about DS24 getting hurt and we've seen that we absolutely cannot afford to lose him.

the way he seems to be so relaxed reminds me of Deion but you can have your own opinion

He’s done a great job, but I’d rather see Palmer or Jenkins back there. We saw what the defense is like without Stingley. It would be really shitty if he got hurt on a punt return.

Stingley avged more his freshman year than Deion avged his freshman year. so far Stingley is avging 3x more if compare 2nd year.

Every time we have an elite player as a returner, people say this. I'm still trying to find someone that suffered a big injury returning punts.

You put your best guy out there.

As a sophomore in college, they are comparable in coverage.

If you are judging Stingley against a 25 year old NFL Deion, then of course not.

There isn’t a player on this team that is better with the ball in his hands

If you are comparing a 19 year old who has played 1 game his sophomore year to a 1st ballet hall of famer...I'd say he is on the right track.

He will be better than Deion if he stays healthy.

What about the TD saving tackle he made at the goal line on the drive Vandy missed the field goal? Deion would have never made that tackle.

It was probably his best game for punt returns. He should have had the TD on that long one. He only had the punter to beat at the end of the run but tried to go around him and ran into a teammate. I felt he could have just ran him over or beat him down the sideline, but hindsight's 20/20. He had a stellar game. Love the guy.

If we did a better job of blocking the punter, he would have housed that one against Vandy. Almost think he still could have had he cut to the sideline. But yeah, he reminds me of Patrick Peterson where you feel he could break anything. Mathieu didn't really break out in the return game until Arkansas, and Beckham always made me nervous about muffing the punt. With Stingley, if he has space, you just always feel like he can bust it open every time he touches the ball.
