Hope we can get to O’Brien before USC does.

Looks like Bill is primed to go to USC and I’ve said it before, he would be a perfect fit for us. Hope he can hold off for another 6 months.

If BOB is hired, a lot of the Houston area alumni would go bonkers because we all have been witness to his sole destruction of the Houston Texans.

Why do you think this?
He only spent 2 years at Penn State and went 15-9. Considering the turmoil around the program at the time, this was a pretty successful record, but he hasn't shown he can build a program or sustain success for any length of time.

Bill came into an embattled Penn State program (under sanctions of a four-year postseason ban and loss of 40 scholarships) and brought everyone together going 8-4 his first season, which is remarkable, and 7-5 his second. All while under sanctions.
Then he went to a Texans program that had 3 winning seasons total since it’s inception in 2002, and he won the division 4 out of the 7 seasons he was there.
He’s coached under Belichick and Saban.
Have you seen that mans chin? A chin like that commands a room.

BoB destroyed his credibility in Houston, and people wont forget that, making it difficult to recruit in Texas. He's better off in SoCal.
