good on him...

what still irritates me to this day is what he threw away at LSU...

if he had his head straight he probably would have won the Heisman and been set for life before leaving LSU!!!!

There is nothing he or you can do about it now.
He acknowledges his fault in all that and what it cost him.
He has moved on.
Maybe you should, as well.

At one point, he signed the biggest contract ever for a safety. He’s not really any worse off financially than he would have been.

True. But perhaps that setback is something that laid the foundation for his later success. Sometimes we all have to be humbled to realize we need to change somethings in our lives

The guy was kicked off the team and has NEVER held a grudge against LSU. In fact, he one of LSU's biggest proponents as a NFL player. I think he realized his leaving was HIS fault and it forced him to make the necessary changes in his life to get to where he is now...which is a first team All Pro.

Yes, we would have loved to see what he could have done in that 2012 season. But getting kicked off the team looks like it may have been the best thing for him.

Still an LSU Legend. Yes he has done some wrong but he has made up for it for himself. Still gives back to the University, etc. People need to let go of whatever issues they have with him. He represents our university better than OBJ has. He is on his way to being a HOF if he keeps this up!

He is not doing too poorly. Plus, he mess ups ij college may serve as motivation. I know his slipping in the draft lit a fire under him. If he had won the Heisman, he might already be out of football like Johnny Football

His life story needs to be made into a movie. Honey Badger is one of a kind.
