Does anyone here really think we used our whole offensive playbook against McNeese?

Did we use it against UCLA? Because if we did I couldn’t tell.

Stop
The day LSU is too scared to show the playbook is what got miles fired
In 2019 LSU came out first game and emptied playbook against non conf team and never looked back
I mean you only get 12 games to play each year
Why hold anything back

I think that LSU is struggling to master their playbook. They are only calling enough that they think they can get right - and they're not.

They didn't really get the chance to use the "whole offensive playbook" due to the fact they couldn't move the ball. This is such a myth that has taken place and convinced our fanbase that Les Miles is responsible for.

Our offense is set and stone right now, we have seen the routes and play concepts. That will not change, will there be a few wrinkles or self scouting to not be predictable as the season progresses? Yes, we do not have a hidden set of plays that we are holding just for the SEC games.

My belief is that O ran the ball in spite of McNeese's ability to mostly stop it. With 3 OL starters and our main OL sub out I think he decided to give our backups experience. O knew our defense would stuff McNeese and win the game.

And no we haven't seen the whole playbook.

YES! We sacrificed a non-conference game to not show the rest of the SEC what we are about to unleash.

LSU stacked, SEC and playoff teams fricked!

Not being able to execute the playbook is different than hold it back.

That has nothing to do with the O line’s inability to block mediocre athletes

2nd and 3rd team OL's are 2nd and 3rd team for a reason. With only 25 scholarships a year even McNeese had decent players. Didn't take McNeese long to figure out we were going to run the ball. It's very common for alk head coaches to not show the whole playbook against inferior competition.

I think we will see the whole playbook either this weekend and for sure against Moo St.

Time will tell if I am right.

They are scholarship athletes at the state’s flagship university. They should have easily won their one-on-ones with McNeese level talent. It was an absolute putrid showing.
And, no, they aren’t holding anything back. The excuse making for this staff/team has reached epic proportions. smh

Are you still harping on this? We were 65% pass / 35% run against McNeese. You seem to think that we just tried to run the ball every play and let them key on that, but it’s just not true.

You are missing the point. We ran it despite the lack of success.

We haven't shown our full playbook yet. I will be proven right.
