OP has a point. Miss State definitely needs one. They didnt score any runs yesterday. And no it doesnt matter they have the second best hitting average in the SEC.

Did they haphazardly swing at every first pitch regardless of location?

They looked like a team who only got 6 hits and struckout 10 times. They also didnt get any hits with runners in scoring position. So hitting coach or no?

Why do so many people on the rant over react so damn much?
Mississippi State has consistently hit, and scored runs all season. A few games struggling hitting does not indicate some massive problem, which warrants firing everybody involved. Every single team in the history of baseball has struggled to hit the ball at one time or another.
Then it is also ignored that really good pitching can make hitting incredibly difficult. Vandy's pitchers have shut down hitters consistently all season long. That is WAY more likely to be the reason MSU didn't hit, rather than sweeping changes needed to the staff.
It can't even be considered ignorance, at this point. It's flat out stupidity.

State actually had twice as many hits as Vandy 6 hits to 3 hits. A walk, bunt, and a single was the only offense Vandy needed.
