We had Nick Saban as HC then. He might be the best college HC of all time. LSU won the SEC and the Sugar Bowl in 2001 and was looking good early in 2002 but lost its starting QB on the road in a blow out of Florida.

We have O as coach now. He is literally the worst coach in the SEC and the 2 worst HC hires of the millennium. We lost to Troy and badly to Miss St. last year. Our head coach couldn't manage his OC and fired him after 1 year to hire his buddy, the existing TE coach.

Now, I'm waiting to hear why you think LSU will win the national championship next year.

There is nothing pointing to history repeating itself.

Well let’s give O a 10 year extension then.

You must enjoy seeing O get bashed by posting something like this.

Wow. In his first full season he had the fourth best record in the SEC last year. Beat the team which beat the two teams which played in the national championship game. But, yeah he is the worst coach in the SEC. Yep lets ignore his 15-6 overall record and 10-4 SEC record since 2016.

The guy that bolted the already greener pastures for the NFL and then TuscaLOSER. Is there a kind way to say screw Nick?

Reaching a bit, aren't you? If this history repeating itself makes you believe this, my history theory of repeating itself involves Ole Piss.

Jimbo Fisher and Tom Herman had worse records in 2017 than Coach O. So, are they worse coaches than O?

Curley Hallman was 23-13 in 3 years at Southern Miss before he arrived at LSU where he turned out to be a terrible football coach. Was he a good coach at S. Miss (where he had Brett Favre as QB) but a bad coach at LSU?

Maybe, just maybe, the players, the schedule and strength of the program he inherited helped O achieve that 15-6 record.

Orgeron is the worst coach in the SEC and not just the worst, but the two worst coaching hires of an SEC program in the millennium.

Is it an excuse saying the 2001 Class was ranked 1 or 2 and was an all time great class with stars like Clayton, Spears, Hill, Whitworth (who’s still in the NFL) among others? Where was the 2017 Class ranked? Also the 2003 class was ranked in the top 3.

Nice effort but ultimately a fail

Remember O’s history at Ole Miss?

I think that history is more likely to repeat itself.

Yeah? What was our recruiting ranking in 2001?

I think something like every team that has won the BCS title for like 15 years has finished #1 or #2 in recruiting in the 2 years prior to their title.

He is 9-4 with a 6-2 SEC record against the WORSE SEC in the last 20 + years. A terrible MSU team drunk him through the mud then spit in his eyes so he could see the was whipping Troy was going to bring. He faced 5 SEC coaches that either were fired or moved. That’s out of 7.
The SOS was 41 playing the likes of. Aka ans AU which had high SEC records.
We can expend to the previous season and see where only Bama and UF had decent defenses that interim year and he was beat - scoring defense of UF and Bamas ability to stop the ru.
In that huge Louiskvivve, they had 3 or 4 defensive starters at line and LB. they lost 3 in a row prior to that game including a big loss to UK.
You’re an idiot

so the Dolphins really didn’t want him? How many HCs positions at the NFL or other colleges has ZER0 was offered besides LSU?

The difference is resources and brand recognition. Bama is Bama you retard.
