Believed to have a knee injury...hasn’t been released yet. Usually don’t drop notes like this but this one hurts :/.

Is the fricking kicker hurt too? frick

Must be serious since there's over 2 weeks before the bowl game. Apparently, if he is out for the bowl, 2 weeks isn't enough time for the injury to heal, or they don't expect it to be enough time.

Everyone is screaming it's a meaningless game so does it matter who plays and who doesn't?

In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter, but everyone still wants to see LSU win the game. Make no mistake about that. We don't watch to see then lose.

It absolutely matters.
We just have to hope that Brumfield and Lewis can play the whole game.

What are the ramifications of a loss and the benefits of a win for the program?
Posted on 12/14/18 at 9:29 pm to TigerLunatik
A loss puts us at 9-4*, which shows no improvement over the previous regime.
A win means 10-3* which hasn’t happened in a while.
*we all know we won the aTm game multiple times. A bowl win gives us 11 actual wins, which hasn’t happened since 2011.

I realize what the record would be, but it's not like one game is going to swing the decision of recruits. We lost to ND last season and followed that up with a strong start to this season, so that doesn't really matter either. As I said, of course we as fans would like to see a win.

This stinks, but I hope this isn’t used as an excuse if things don’t go well for us.
They are still playing with their backup qb. We need to take advantage.

It's tough to tell what kind of intensity LSU is gonna show up with in this one, beau. Gonna be missing some players vs a lesser opponent at an obscene time to play a football game. I'm not putting too much stock into the outcome of this one. That hinges of course on the manner of the outcome. If we kick a FG from the 1, that's a different story.

Hines has really helped the Tigers, playing well at guard for Brumfield.
Hines has shown that despite being a true freshman, he was ready to play on the offensive line when needed.

Terrible news. Big fella is going to be a hoss for LSU

Its a huge game. A win we finish in the top 10 for the first time since 2011 season and a 10-3 record. Plus great for the fans and plsyers. A loss just leaves a bad taste all offseason and a 9-4 record with a mid-teens finish in the polls

I would think that finishing with the best season we've had in 7 years would be very important to pretty much everyone

So who starts in Hines place?
I guess that leaves Lewis and Brumfield at the guards with Magee as the primary backup

One of the ramifications of a win is that it shuts the negatards up on this board for the next eight months. The ones that do talk are going to look even more stupid than usual
