Surprising imo. We play 2 more games no matter what. His next start would’ve been on normal rest. A win would be huge tomorrow tho

I'm a little surprised by that too, ....very young arm, throws mostly curveballs you think you'd want to give him more rest

he gives us the best shot at beating Florida. Beat Florida and we have Fontenot go Thursday and then would have Hess ready to go Saturday. If Hilliard loses, we still have Fontenot available for an elimination game and probably Hess if we get through to the semi-finals.

I thought he might save him for Thursday, but honestly if he did I have no idea who would start tomorrow.
