He's too big of an a-hole.
This situation reminds me of the O hiring. "Oh, Wade doesn't want to talk to me, well frick him."
"Oh, Herman doesn't want the job, well frick him."
Both situations he way overreacted and although O hasn't been bad, I still can't see him as a long term solution. Just as him pulling this bullshite with Wade will be bad for LSU Basketball long term.
Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail, but I just can't see that happening.

I am actually sad for Will Wade.
This is so very wrong to do this to him at this point in the season.
How can Alleva begin to live with himself after what he did to Duke rushing to judgment, and now he's double back down again?
He sickens me. I don't care if his "hands are tied" He needs to nut up and do the right thing for once. No one is forcing this but LSU. LSU needs to do the right here.
They really going to let him miss his moment? This is his team. He should be there coaching them.
