You do realize the d line won't be following fournette even after the fake. You're pulling guard and tackle, most linebackers and dlinemen will follow the pulls

I mean...let's pretend for a minute that the defense doesn't read their keys, such as pulling linemen...you've got 8 men on the line of scrimmage. Good job, coach, on the 5 yard penalty after the 80 yard touchdown.

So either fournette is lined up behind center or you overloaded the right side

In most instances, yes. just get the D 3 steps right, and the blocks are set up to the inside. screens are set up like that. LF7 is like a magnet these days.

same formation, pitch to Fournette, who then pulls up and throws to the TE on the left.

8 men on the line of scrimmage is not a penalty. You have to have "at least" 7 on the line of scrimmage. If this was a pass play you would lose one of your potentially eligible receivers with this formation.
