I thought LSU was finished playing back yard basketball. Two possessions your team gets one shot off at the buzzer. Time out and draw up a play.

Pitiful loss ...

Young team bro, let’s wait until SEC play before you throw them to the wolves.

Or maybe in against a quality nonconference team the coach needed to see what his young team would do in crunch time. He now has film he can use to teach his young team about what to do going forward.

It's the complete opposite of football. Orgeron can't do anything right - and Wade can't do anything wrong.

Learning about your team at this point in the season in basketball is more important than calling a TO to win a game that is totally meaningless in the grand scheme of things. The new guys are used to being the man on their teams and need to learn their roles.

In football, every player plays a designated position and every game counts like a playoff. It's an apples and oranges comparison.

You are one of those stupid fricks that think LSU should never make a mistake ever. If we played the the dream team and kept it to a single digit loss you’d blame the fricking coach for the loss.

You are an alter and not an LSU fan. Simply here to troll. Should be banned. Just saying.

Good point Tigerlunik. That's a good way to look at it. Tear them down, and then build them back up.

You have Smart, Reid, Williams, Days and Taylor who were most likely the main man on their teams last year. Now those guys have to all learn to play together, communicate and win together. Who is the leader on the team? Who gets the ball in crunch time? Who takes the last shot? Who is going to be the primary ball handler? Who do you want on the floor for defense or offense at the end of the game?

There are so many questions to answer for a young basketball team at this point in the season. It takes time. It's a lot like CPM constantly tinkering with the batting lineup in the early part of the season.
