It's been said, but there is no way we thought we'd win the west and play for SEC Championship when the season started, let alone a chance at the playoffs.

Things can suck more than this. I woke up this morning and chose to be positive.

Losses suck. Especially to the Aggies. Especially when the Aggies are 4-7.

But, there's a lot to be pleased about from this season.

Sucks but it is what it is, maybe it was rigged. Timely Fumbles and easy passes dropped and timely penalties by the refs.

My feelings this morning…It was all one big huge tease. Deep down I knew LSU was over ranked and no where close to what our record indicated. Last night basically proved it.

I’m not sure about the rigged stuff, but I’m still happy to be an LSU fan compared to an Aggie. Yeah, they beat us, but they don’t win shite In football.

We’re still playing for SEC Title.

The only thing that sucks is to lose to a 4-7 team. I predicted 8 wins tops and they topped that, i just don't know how you go out there and play like that the last game of season. No pride says alot about the team imo

We just got beat. Not many other ways to put it. We need to suck it up and move on.

I thought we’d finish 6-6 this year. 9-3 now with a chance a 11-3 or 10-4 is all positive.

We may have been over-ranked, whatever that means, but we are pretty much what our record indicates. A decent team that played much better this year than most expected, but does not belong in the playoffs.

This is spot on IMO. We're not a playoff team, but we're better than most others. It's not so weird to grasp. We're a top 10-15 or so team this season. That's not bad.

I think this loss takes all the pressure off and they can come out and play their best game next weekend.

Well said! It was a tough night, no other way to say it. I actually turned off the game last evening when it was 31-17 (after the one-handed TD catch). I knew we did not have it, and I was mad. This morning I find myself 'mad' that I was that dejected last evening. Look at where we were just 12 months ago, and where we stand today.

This program is on a upward trajectory with an excellent coaching staff and a core group of players that will return next season. The incoming recruiting class is very impressive, can still get better, and the portal awaits to gain some key additions, especially on Defense.

All of that said does NOT excuse a very lack-luster, embarrassing performance last night, but we need to flush it and move forward and it starts with the next two games. The next two game will speak volumes about where we are - mentally & physically - and where we want to be. Win or lose, compete to CBK's standard. Compete like a winning-program and regardless of the results charge forward into the 23 season cycle ready to work hard and play LSU football. CBK and these players have laid the groundwork. This program's best football still lies ahead of us.
