The problem is your mobile QB also has to be a threat as a passer.

Manziel was excellent at making a pass happen.
As was Watson.

So what youre saying is Les could only beat Bama with some of the best college Qbs of the past 20 years.

In fairness, nobody has had a ton of success without an elite-ish QB against Bama. And if they weren’t elite, they were way above average and played great games.
