I'll be honest, I did not like seeing LSU as the #2 in our Regional, but do like that I can now kill hours reading tiger rant. Best message board out there... Hope you guys make the trip!

LSU very fortunate to make regional this year if not for late run in SEC tourney.
OSU should be able to handle this regional.
Hopefully LSU beats SD State to set up Sat showdown, it is baseball, anything can happen.
If OSU brings A game, I see them taking it though.

While I hope LSU can take the regional, my prediction is that LSU beats OSU on Saturday night in the winner's bracket game, but OSU comes back out of the loser's bracket to knock LSU off twice. It completes the circle from last year.
Should be a fun regional to watch. I'm kind of excited to see LSU play a regional on the road, it's not something we get to see very often... It's only the second time in history that LSU has played in a 4-team regional on the road (the only other time was at UCLA and we went 1-2).
FWIW, I think UCLA takes the Minnesota regional.

Trust us, we did not want to play y'all either lol.
I feel you guys will win this regional though due to us struggling mightily on the road and inconsistent pitching and hitting. That being said, praying we win. Good luck to you all.

The committee loves to stick it to LSU when they can. Sending us all the way out there is quite the joke. I don’t see us taking it. Pretty much our only shot is to have Hess dominate Saturday night

This LSU team is not nearly as good as last year’s team. I don’t think many LSU fans are expecting LSU to win this regional. As fans, we are all pulling for it, and we know that if LSU plays as well this week as we did last week that we have a chance. The reality is that several pitchers performed far better last week than they had for most of the year. And even if we get similar efforts this weekend, Oregon St is loaded with returning starters and a team that is on a mission to return to Omaha and win it all.

Myself, I’m very concerned getting by San Diego State. Listened to a scouting report last night from one of their radio announcers and it sounds like this will be a tough match up for the Tigers.

Really, you think LSU wasn’t in the tournament if they don’t have the SEC tournament run? LSU didn’t go from a number two seed to out of the tournament because if anything they did in the SEC tournament. They may have increased their seed level by the run, but they were in the tournament already. imo

It’s weird for me to see people making predictions about LSU vs OSU when I’d guesstimate that 97% of our fans haven’t watched OSU play this year

I wouldn't think you need to watch OSU to predict them beating LSU.....If predicting the other way around is probly just pulling it out their arse.
