I know exactly what you said and I also am smart enough to know what you were implying.

Seems to me you are the one that is doing the "avoiding".

For the 3rd time, let me break this down for you so even a small school child can understand....

I never said he threw 4 picks.
I said we had 5 to's and beat fla.
You said 4 ints equal no win.. i said 5 to's equal win against fla in 05.

Please tell me you now understand the point here.

People still raggin on JL. I believe he played against 3 No. 1 teams in the country. The coach that called that first play that turned into an interception really screwed up. He'll be better this year. He was a freshman thrown to the wolves. Buck up boys.

I tend to agree. But JL didn't help his cause by locking onto the receiver pre-snap, take the ball, drop back, look only in that direction, watch 3 defenders blanket said receiver and without hesitation decide to pass the ball in that direction anyway.

JL also seemed to get worse - or at least not improve - as the season progressed.

We're also supposedly implementing spread-option as our offense (not exclusively, but often) which doesn't fit JL in the least.

I seriously don't understand why someone who claims to be an LSU fan would be that negative about the guy's future

Because we have some of the worst fans in the country. I can deal with them being assholes, but I can't stand them being stupid. And anyone who thinks they know how JL is destined to perform his next 3 years based on how he played as a freshman, is fricking stupid. He could wind up being one of the best QBs in LSU history, one of the worst, or anywhere in between. We don't know anything.

Based on a few posters on an internet message board, you collective label millions of completely different people from all over different parts of the country and world as the worst fans in the country?

You mean Florida?

Hot Rod & TheDoc,
It's clear that you two guys don't agree on anything especially the LSU QB situation.

Hot Rod
TheDoc asked the question "When was the last time a QB threw 4 INT's and his team still won the game?"
You replied LSU Florida 2005. In order for your response to be correct, LSU's QB would have had to have thrown 4 INT's AND LSU would have to have won the game. Only one of these things happened so your response is wrong.

TheDoc
Though Hotrod's answer was wrong, it was only wrong because you specifically asked about the QB throwing 4 INT's. LSU had 5 (I believe) total turnovers in that game and the team still won. The team overcame all the turnovers and the play of the QB to win the game.

So to summarize, Hotrod's reponse was wrong. However, the fact remains that whether it was INT's or fumbles that led to the turnovers, the team was still able to pull out the victory.

I was at the game, and I do remember the fumbles we had, but I knew that JR did not throw 4 INT's as I was relating that to the 2008 Bama game where J Lee threw 4 INT's.

thank you for the clarification.

You make it sound as if that is what he set out to do. Not true. Kid loves LSU and he loves to win.

correct, but in this certain instance, I was only talking about Interceptions thrown by the QB, as I was comparing the QB play of Jarrett Lee.

but thank you for the post.

dude seriously, this is old now.

If I understand you correctly you are saying that a qb can't throw 4 picks and a team win.......but a team can commit 5 TO's and they can still win? HENCE FUKING FORTH why I noted LSU/FLA 2005
thats what it sounds like you are saying.

Im not sure what im supposed to admit what im wrong about, I never said Jamarcus threw 4 ints. (for the 4th time) and For the the fifth and final time I was simply making an exapmle that we had 4+ TO's in one game in still won.

For the life of me I dont why you will not acknowledge that..
Yes I do, b/c you fuking idiot that likes to argue.

Do that in the S.E.C. and you're gonna get your freakin head knocked off, eventually. Maybe since the Annointed One can walk on water, maybe he can "Float" away from DL's, LB's and DB's......

Is that what I did? No, I clearly used the word "some." Not all. We clearly have some of the best fans in world as well. On the whole, I absolutely love the passion of our fanbase, but I think we have a relatively high percentage of ignorant assholes. And I've gathered that not only by reading this and other message boards, but by listening to people in the stands, on the radio, and in my day-to-day life.
