I'm sure they weren't very pleased.

I heard the show. That's not exactly the way it was phrased. I wish I could remember word for word, but I cannot.

"I wonder how his teammates felt about his neglecting to do film study."
I wonder how his teammates felt about his absolute refusal to ever attempt to tackle any defender who had just intercepted one of his passes.

LSU has a habit, however, of "head cases" leaving LSU as "head cases".
partially due to the idiotic local fanbase completely giving up on young, mistake prone kids and writing them off with no chance of EVER getting out of the fanbases dog house

if your redshirt freshman QB is a duel threat, he will more likely panic early and start running too early and too often
Which leads to yardage gains and less interceptions. Yeah, that sucks.

Am I going crazy here or is that not what you said?
are you that fuking stupid?
I know JR didnt thow 4 picks that game, I apologize if that is what you thought i said....
I thought I made it pretty clear when I said that A TURNOVER is FUKING TURNOVER... wh o cares if it s int or fumble.
Fact is we had 5 of them and still beat fla that year... you said whens the last titme a qb threw 4 ints and won?
What you are incinuating is that 4 ints are too many for a team to win a game, and I simply called you out on it.

we all know that JL will get into a game at some point this coming season. I just hope the crowd doesn't boo him again. That would be terrible

1 on 1 tackling drills were after film studying.

I wonder if the crowd will boo our defense when they come on the field.. hell if JL deserves a good booing then this bunch sure as hell does to.
see where im goin with this?

Man, you guys are pretty rough! My 2 cents (again), because this has been discussed before:
1.) JL was thrown in a bad situation that he was not ready for.
2.) His problem was between the ears. If he's studying game film and learning how to read the defense, he has the potential to be an outstanding QB.
3.) At some point this season, there's a strong chance that we will need this kid. Even if JJ get's the nod as the starter, we will be one injury away from being in the same position that we were in last year if JL were to leave.
4.) We recruited this kid for a reason. He has talent. I agree that his lack of progression last year was disconcerting, but I really believe that the situation fricked with his head and hampered his maturation.
5.) I also hope that this kid has a great Spring camp and is able to get back on the field. I'm not going to say that I hope that he's the starter. I hope that the coaching staff puts the best QB on the field, regardless of who that happens to be. If it's Lee, so be it. We've seen JJ play, so if JL is the starter, it's because he's improved, not because he's the only option that we have (like last year).

Agreed with carl and hotrod. JL had many dropped passes.

Defense didnt play well either. JL wasnt our only problem last year.

I said "when was the last time a QB threw 4 INT's and his team still won the game?"
you responded with:
"LSU florida 2005"
when jamarcus DID NOT throw 4 INT's.
You were wrong and you are clearly avoiding this fact.

Jarrett Lee was a young qb and younq qbs make mistakes. Unfortunately, his were very glaring mistakes (pic 6 against uga & int against Bama). Jefferson did look good against Tech but, could it be that Tech's def wasn't that strong?
