Here is what bothers me about Ricks!

If a kid wants to transfer, go for it! Personally I think the lax rules for the portal is destroying college football, but that's just me.
But, if he wants to transfer, fine...but, I can't see how on one day he can play for LSU, and then the next, flip a switch and go to our most hated rival. I can't wrap my head around that!
I am of another generation....I have a hard time imagining a kid playing for LSU would turn his nose and finger to the school and just flip a switch and say "roll tide!" Are these the type of players O recruited? This is clearly a "bu$ine$$" decision.
College ball is now the wild, wild west....it is out of control and far worse than anything we see in the NFL. At least in the NFL it is regulated.
So, Mr. Ricks, good riddance! You could have gone graciously, but you chose to rub our noses in the ground with your pompous text! But, isn't it amazing our secondary played much better when you were gone!

When you have no passion for the school you sign with it’s not that hard. Those are the kids LSU has signed entirely too many of for years and it’s time it changes. Give me more Jack Bech’s, Jaray Jenkins and Dwight Mglotherens and less Eli Ricks and Savion Smiths

True, I-10 is bad because it allows Californians to flee their fricked up state and move somewhere better, then continue voting for the same policies that destroyed California.

You guys are allowing your personal feelings interfere with logical thinking. Ricks is a kid that was probably offered about 200k just to go Alabama. His parents were more than likely promised x-amount of dollars as well. This kid play sports to change his family dynamic financially. The new NIL that LSU seems to be way behind the ball compared to everyone else, is the reason we are losing top recruits and players on our roster. There’s a lot of money being paid out there and those kids wants a piece of that pie. LSU have to catch up bc right now it’s costing us!!

There is clearly tampering going on whether it's coaches being bold and doing it themselves or using players to contact other players. No way to prove it though

You can't wrap your head around that b/c you bleed purple and gold. Ricks doesn't so it really doesn't matter to him.
