But it’s killing me that hate BK is getting. This man turned the school around and gave ND 12 years yet he’s an a-hole for the way he left as if it’s his fault the media leaked it. You go on Twitter or r/cfb and it’s nothing but bullshite. Hell one of the top stories on r/CFB is about him “faking” a southern accent. I can’t wait for him to kick arse and take names with our guys.

so dumb, he got no hate for leaving Cincy high and dry like every other coach does at the G5 level.
They are made because it happened to a "blue blood" program.
And they should blame the NCAA for the early signing period. If you take that away, there isn't the huge rush to hire someone before the season is done.

When you really get down to it, they are upset knowing that the head coach of their beloved Notre Dame left because he knows they cannot win a national championship. He would’ve never left if he felt his team could win the natty this year and that’s a tough pill for them to swallow.

Search "Brian Kelly" on the Coaches Changes board and read the post prior to Saturday... you will see that about 70% of the posters on here were not in favor for Kelly and were basically saying the same things you are currently reading from ND fans/media.

Annoying as it is, it’s evidence of the strength of this hiring. It’s difficult to move up in the world without ruffling a few feathers.
